The Frisch brothers all shared the vision of creating Certified Steak and Seafood (CSS). They come from a family owned and operated business that has over 60 years of steak and seafood merchandising experience and have helped grow the company into one of the largest seafood distributors in the world. 

Mark Frisch, Partner, Chief Strategist.
Born in Jacksonville Florida, Mark attended the University of Florida and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management.

Prior to attending college, Mark would spend his summers learning the family business; filing invoices in the accounting department, steering a golf cart around the company’s warehouse and picking up and filling wholesale orders.

After graduating, Mark worked his way up to become the executive vice president over sales and marketing in the family business. Seeing a great opportunity to provide quality steak and seafood direct to the customer’s home, he decided to venture out and create Certified Steak and Seafood.

Mark oversees the strategic direction of Certified Steak and Seafood. He is passionate about providing the best product at the most competitive price. Often, you’ll hear him say “We want our customers to feel certain that they are receiving the highest quality products at a fair price.”

Adam Frisch, Partner, Buyer, Legal.
Born and raised in Jacksonville Florida, Adam worked in the family business every summer since he was young, learning the “ins” and “outs” of running a business. He earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Florida and continued his studies there and earned both a Law degree and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation. Adam is a member of the Florida Bar. 

Subsequently, Adam practiced law for five years before deciding to join his family’s business. He worked in the purchasing department for three years when the opportunity of creating Certified Steak and Seafood was realized with his two brothers.

Adam participates actively in the food industry, attending food shows all over the world. He is keen on food quality and customer satisfaction. His vision for Certified Steak and Seafood is to satisfy customers’ demands for superior products without breaking the bank. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication, but as he states, “tough times never last, tough people do”.

Steven Frisch, Partner, Buyer.
Born and raised in Jacksonville Florida, Steven grew up in the family business and learned, like his brothers before him, what it takes to run a successful business. He attended Florida State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs. 

Steven regularly attends seafood exhibitions around the world seeking the best product available for CSS customers. His favorite quote is “You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take.” Steven has eagerly embraced the opportunity to establish Certified Steak and Seafood as the best online steak and seafood retailer there is. His enthusiasm shows it.

Kevin Cook, Partner, Director. 

Kevin, a serial entrepreneur in both the B2B and B2C space, brings operational experience and dedication to Certified Steak and Seafood and its customers. A veteran of the Unites States Marine Corps, Kevin understands that every facet of the organization has to be the best it can be and that at the end of the day, the mission is to ensure every customer has had the best experience possible.

Kevin oversees daily operations of the company and assists in the development and implementation of the overall strategy and direction of the company.
