Live Mahi is green in color with reflective scales which give it a very bright and lively look. Its flesh is white and moist, with a slightly sweet flavor. It is often thought of as Hawaiian due to its name, which means strong; but CSS Mahi is found in the warm waters of Peru. Mahi is very versatile due to the density of its meat.

COMMON MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT MAHI

“Mahi is dolphin fish? Why would I want to eat a dolphin?!”

Mahi, also known as dolphin fish, however, is not in any way related to dolphins, as its name may suggest.  In fact, Mahi’s not even a mammal.
